48 finalists have been selected in 16 categories of which three of these are Northumberland businesses. The successful Northumberland businesses that will compete against two other finalists in their categories are:
- Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours - Experience of the year
- Langley Castle Hotel - Resilience and Innovation
- Kidlandlee Holiday Cottages - Self Catering Provider
The awards champion the very best of the country’s tourism industry celebrating quality, innovation, best practice and exceptional customer service.
In addition, Northumberland businesses are also recognised through their participation in the regional New Adventures programme which has been shortlisted in one of four special awards ‘The TXGB Trailblazer Award’. Over the last year Visit Northumberland has worked alongside NewcastleGateshead Initiative to support the New Adventures project promoting the fantastic experiences that you can enjoy in Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland.

North East business Rockcliffe Hall Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort has also been selected to represent the region at the awards.
The prestigious black tie award ceremony will be held at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter on the 7th June.
